I got the challenge from Mrs. Rokous to help her create a google form. I thought it was an easy task, for it was only typing questions and options into a form. The task, however, turned out to be more difficult. First of all, the design of google form had been changed when I went to the website. I was not accustomed to the new design, so it took me quite a while to find the buttons for different functions. I didn't like the new design, either.
I finally finished typing in all the information and everything then went smoothly. One day, however, when Mrs. Rokous asked me to transfer the ownership to her, I suddenly found out that it was impossible. I used my own gmail account to create the form and it was not allowed by google to transfer ownership in different domains. I tried a lot of methods but all failed. It happens to all the people when they are using a new technology. Aware of that, I will always remember to use my school account when solving tech problems for others.

This is a flyer created by Will and me, aimed at recruiting fresh blood into our tech connector team. Governor students, if you are reading this blog, please consider joining if you are interested!Evernote is a great app for students to utilize before exams and during regular class time.
Its powerful note organization tools and convenient sharing functions make Evernote a really helpful review tool before exams. For example, I can type down the review packet of history class into a new "notebook" and then share it with my classmates so that they can collaborate with me and add new history information into the review packet. The review packet using Evernote turns out to be a great help for me before the exam. My classmates have the answers to those questions I am not familiar with and reading through their answers helps me a lot. It's easy to sign up for Evernote. You can either download an app or do it online. website: https://evernote.com/intl/zh-cn/ Hope it helps you. Weebly and Wordpress are not the only choices website designers have. As a matter of fact, Squarespace and Strikingly are also great choices.
First of all, all these websites are responsive websites. It means that the images and words will alter according to the devices that are used to view the website. Templates Squarespace and Strikingly provide are more concise and don't have much decorations. If one prefers clean design, they are good choices. However, one biggest disadvantage of squarespace and strkingly is that users cannot drag elements to wherever they want. In Weebly, however, it is allowed. All these reviews are based on my experience of free functions that they give. For users like me who don't want to spend money on the websites, if you like colorful templates, go to Weebly and Strikingly. If you like simple templates, go to Squarespace or Wordpress. If you want more functions for free, go to Weebly. IFTTT ( powerful connections!)IFTTT(If this then that) is a powerful platform for users to create connections between different APPs or platforms. For example, you can do something like this: Or something to make your life easier and more convenient: Anyway, the connections between different platforms enable users to “create” the function they want. Therefore, I think maybe by using IFTTT, we tech connectors are able to pin our own logs and the articles to the official school website automatically. An easy way to do this is to create our own channel that will build a bridge. For example, I will link my weebly account to the IFTTT and then establish a channel that "if there is a post on weebly, then post the same thing onto the wordpress(school website)."
